Two week wait.

Embryo transfer done yesturday, we decided to go for two blastocysts due to our first Ivf failure.

I remember from the last time that the two week wait was by far the worst of the whole experience. The not knowing, wandering and amagining all sorts is just a killer!

I pray and hope it has worked and that the next two weeks remain stress free and that I don't do my own head in

Good luck! My advice would be to eat lots of protein, a slice of fresh pineapple each day, go for lots of walks and just generally try and keep busy. Oh, and don't analyse every symptom or lack of as everyone is different and the side effects of the progesterone supplements are similar to those of pregnancy (though I'm sure you know all this if you've been through it once already!)

Totally agree, I found the two week wait the worst of the whole experience too, I felt so low after ET. Perhaps try meditation. Zita West positive visualisation for ivf is good, I used this and will use it again for my 2nd IVF cycle. Also an app called headspace which is for general meditation, I haven't tried it though. Good luck! Just try to keep busy. I found box sets and trips to the cinema helped keep me occupied x

Good luck Purdy777, I agree, the 2ww is by far the worst part. I drove myself crazy which I promised myself I will try not to do next time.

Good luck Purdy777, try to be strong. I have my ET tomorrow and will begin the 2WW with you. They are also going to put 2 in so praying that one takes. I'm going to focus on getting ready for Christmas!

Avoid Google! Rest, relax, lots of protein, Vitamin D and all the usual vitamins and folic acid. Netflix also helps! Good luck xx
