Are you crafty? Sounds odd, but a small project might help! Make handmade Christmas cards/ birthday cards ready for the future. Or knit... And watch a tv series at the same time! I found it easier if my hands were busy and my mind occupied at the same time.
I agree this is definitely the hardest time but keeping busy is the secret to staying sane. Meet friends and family, go shopping and Filmgirl101's ideas are fab.
Thank you xx it's so hard because we are told not to do anything lol xx but also don't wrap ourselves in cotton wool xx thank you for your kind wishes xx good luck to you also xx
During my 2ww I went for lots of walks, watched lots of trashy tv, caught up with friends and made christmas cards. I took it very easy I didn't go to work for 2 weeks so I didn't have that extra stress. I also made sure I drank lots and lots of water and ate lots and lots of fruit and veg. We are currently 7+6 pregnant and going for for our first scan tomorrow. Good luck with your journey xx
Good luck Little, 10 days til test day for me too! I'm back at work today but taking it pretty easy. I'm trying to stay as calm and positive as possible, drinking lots and eating loads of fruit and protein. Fingers crossed for both of us xx
Hi Button-123, I think it is undoubtedly the most stressful time for most people. I have developed a resource for the 2WW because I think even the language puts pressure on people, turning it in to a 'wait' rather than being in each moment, each day. I've call it The Two Week Thrive and I would love you (or anyone else who wants to download it) to have it and let me know what you think of it:
It is a zipped folder with a number of files in, so you need to download on to a computer and open it before transferring the mp3's to a device if you want to. There is PDF user-guide/daily reflection pack.
x
Oops, sorry, I addressed my post to Button-123 instead of Little3535 but of course it is for anyone going through or about to go in to the 2WW. x
