Feeling deflated :(

Went for my 7 day scan today and only had 6 follicles which is not good as I'm egg sharing. They put my dose up for the next 3 days. I'm praying it will improve as I know they will cancel my cycle. Feeling so disappointed for me and the egg recipient. Has this happened to anyone? Was there any light at the end of the tunnel? Xxx

Sorry to hear this. The same thing happened to me. I went for my scan on day of being on Gonal f and my follicles were too small. My medication was increased from 300 to 450 units and I was re-scanned two days after. They were still too small. I was re-scanned again after another two day but this time, they had only grown a little bit. Because the third scan was on a Friday, the doctor decided I carry on with my medication as normal till Sunday when I took my trigger injection. Egg collection was last week Tuesday and amazingly, 7 good eggs was collected and all of them fertilized.

I had my Egg transfer on Sunday.

Don't worry too much. I am sure your follicles will shoot up before your egg collection.
