Hi all,I just wanted to post as I'm feeling very deflated today. I'm currently 3dp5dt and have convinced myself that this cycle has already failed. I haven't been getting any symptoms and my intuition tells me something isn't right 😔
Just here looking for some support from others who understand how awful this 2WW is.
Thanks x

Yep, I remember the awful 2WW very well. I caught norovirus on 6dp5dt and definitely thought it was all over. It wasn’t and I was very shocked to see a BFP.
I had 7 transfers in total and none of them felt hopeful. I didn’t get any symptoms at all and honestly could not tell the difference between the ones that ended in BFP and BFNs.
I had a frozen transfer on a natural cycle. My lining is persistently thin so I'm not holding out much hope. Also, been on a staycation with family who don't know about our IVF attempts. Havent been eating as healthily as I would normally after a transfer & been running around a lot after my 3 year old niece. If nothing else it has taken my mind off everything!
Mine was a fresh transfer, my last fresh didn't work for me so I'm not sure why I decided to go down that route again 🤦♀️It's awful when you feel like you're not doing your best to support the implantation isn't it, I feel the same, but then it's important that we're still continuing with our daily lives and keeping busy to take our mind off things.
Any symptoms yet? I'm still not getting anything, just sore boobs which are from the progesterone 😔
I was the same. I had a failed fresh first time round but still did it again. It starts to feel like insanity doesn't it, doing the same thing over & over again hoping for a different result, but everyone always says it's a numbers game!
Still nothing symptom wise either.
It's strange isn't it, going from doing so much before transfer like medications etc, to just the progesterone pessaries twice a day. I need to learn to just trust in the process!
I had 5 transfers, of those 1 BFN and 4 BFPs but only one was ultimately successful. Have had everything in the 2WWs from very strong pregnancy like symptoms to absolutely nothing, to spotting, cramps and bleeding. No correlation to success or not and on two it turned out the HCG never got high enough to cause symptoms. I think before about 5-6 weeks (and even with very high HCG) most symptoms are the meds and/or settling from egg collection, and your body can react differently each time to the same meds. Because of that I stopped symptom spotting and went to early testing and getting HCGs done as then at least I knew one way or other, but that's not for everyone.
Thanks so much for this, that's really reassuring to hear. Symptom spotting is just the worse, it's driving me insane. I think I'll test early to put my mind at ease because worrying for two weeks won't do me any good. X
We're cycle buddies! 😊 I'm so sorry you've been through this 8 times, I can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling. How are you feeling today, any symptoms? I still don't have any 😔 x
Hi, I’m on day 3 of the 2WW for the 7th time 😫. Each wait is an anxious as the last and it is so difficult not to question every sympton or lack of. I find it hard, given my experience, to feel hopeful during the 2WW so sympathise with your deflated feeling. I am sending you lots of love and positivity, praying you get your BFP. If you want to message, I’m more than happy to chat. Xx
Thanks so much Crie and I'm so sorry to hear you've been through this 7 times. I can understand why you're feeling anxious. How are you feeling today? Praying that we both get our BFP at the end of this 🙏🤞 xx
Thank you, appreciate your kind words. I’m counting down the days until pregnancy test, the not knowing is so hard. Spent the weekend away at my in laws so the distraction has been nice. Still finding it hard to get head in a positive space though. How are you holding up today? X
I completely get what you're saying, I'm also away with friends and I'm also finding it difficult to get into a positive head space. I think I'll have to test early just for peace of mind in a couple of days. Are you getting any symptoms? X
I hope you are having a nice time away with your friends, despite what you are going through. My pregnancy blood test is due on 22nd which is day 12 but I’ll probably test a couple of days early at home next weekend 😬. Been getting a few cramps but I know that could be for a few different reasons and I’ve had cramps before when it hasn’t worked so I’m just trying to not read anything in to them. Xx
Hiya, just on a positive note, your situation was exactly like mine I even wrote a post like yours at 3dp5dt and I'm now 6 weeks pregnant, ironically I started getting some symptoms after 5 days, so definitely wait longer! Good luck ✨️👶
hello ❤️ just wanted to say I remember how sad and anxious I was during TWW as I was having ZERO symptoms.
No symptoms doesn’t mean your transfer wasn’t successful - as I said I had zero symptoms and I am currently holding my baby in my arms. Sending you all the love and baby dust in the world ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just wanted to wish you the best. The way I look at it, women who conceive naturally normally don’t have any symptoms very early, they don’t know they are pregnant until 6/7 weeks maybe!
My GC had no symptoms and I was so afraid!! But on 6dp5dt she tested and got a bfp! We are still waiting patiently (haha… not really but I’m trying to keep telling myself) for ultrasounds to make sure all is okay. We had to get an early one at 5 weeks 4 days because her HCG didn’t double on the 2nd draw, but tripled on the 3rd. They thought it was ectopic, but thank God, he was in the right spot. He just has to continue to grow. She just started having symptoms a couple of days ago at 6 weeks 3 days
Hang in there! Sending baby dust to all of us!!! Praying for our miracles🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
