I went for my first scan this morning to check how my stimulation injections are going. When I was scanned back in May before beginning treatment I had 4 follicles in the one ovary and 3 in the other. Today I still had 4 in the one but only 2 in the other. They have all grown considerably in size though and my uterus lining is looking nice and thick. We still have a few more days of injections to go so I guess things could still change. The nurse didn’t seem concerned. Should I feel more positive with this outcome? Xx

This is good and going in the right direction. When I had my first scan they could only see 2. After another couple of days I had 6 and on EC day they got 11!
Don't be disappointed, you're doing well.
Have lots of protein and use a hot water bottle on your tummy if you can. xx
Thank you for your message, makes me feel a lot happier 😊 hopefully by the time we go on Monday for our next scan we will see more of an improvement. And as everyone keeps telling me, it only takes one 🙌🏻 Xx
Hey, just to let you know, I had 7 follicles come egg collection, 9 eggs came out of those ( 3 decent blastocysts made) I’m now almost 12 weeks pregnant with one of those eggs following a FET. I was disappointed with the number of follicles too, but it’s the quality over quantity. Drink plenty of water, Eat lots of protein and get ready for that egg collection! Good luck! X
This was exactly my experience. I still got one good quality embryo transferred, even after they had to do ICSI at the last minute. Take each step as it comes, think positive and look after yourself. I found walking each morning and evening to keep the circulation going really helpful and meditative.
Hi, I only ever got 6 follicles and 4 eggs after stimming for 19 days, but out of those 4 eggs 4 fertilised and I got 2 embryos, first 1 sadly ended in chemical, and we are awaiting frozen transfer with our other embryo. So please stay positive,it's not about numbers but quality 🙂xo
