Hi all

Hopefully starting 3rd ivf cycle at the end of month. Really need to put everything into this as we are self funding and this will probably be our last go.

On my last cycles I was just taking folic acid, what vitamins do others take and recommend?

Vitamin D definitely. Also speak to clinic about higher dosage of folic acid. I suffered a placental abruption after my first Ivf, was advised by consultant to take more folic acid, they don't know why, but see better results for some ladies who suffer reoccurring miscarriages that take much bigger doses. So morally folic acid dose is 400mcg, she now wants me on 5000! It can't hurt, so ask your doc, you'll need it prescribed if they feel it will help you xx

Hi Katybr. Usually a good quality pre-conception multivitamin tablet that includes folic acid should be sufficient. As it is your 3rd cycle, why not have a chat with our clinic and see what they advise. If you are eating a good healthy diet, then hopefully you should not need to take too much in the way of extra vitamins. Hope all goes well for you this time. Diane

We are in the same position as you and our clinic told us to take Vitamin D, hope that helps and good luck 😀

We are too self finding our third and final cycle.

Through all cycles we have taken pregnacare for men and women., omega 3, lots of veg and fruit, water, super foods when we can and acupuncture and 75mg of baby aspirin daily.
