Just starting my 2nd frozen embryo cycle. Was wondering what vitamins everyone takes? U get yourself all hung up on a hope something might actually help!!! I usually just take the multi vitamin for trying to conceive. I’ve read vitamin e and iron tablets are good to take. Any thoughts?
Vitamins: Just starting my 2nd frozen... - Fertility Network UK
Vitamins
Ubiquinol, folate, magesium, selenium, fish oils, vitamin D....haha I took a right cocktail in addition to my multi vitamin. And 500ml full fat milk with 20g whey protein, chia seeds and blueberries everyday from stims to result.
It depends on what you yourself are lacking I suppose.
It didn't work mind! But I felt so good!

😂😂. I mix it up every time thinking right this will work, then move onto something else!!! X
I know everytime I read about a new one I think - THIS WILL WORK! 😅
Honestly the vitamins did make a difference - my skin was better and my nails etc and people started to tell me I looked better at least...
Just take what you think will benefit you
Good Luck!

I take zinc, magnesium, vitamin d and obviously folic acid. I wouldn’t take extra iron unless deficient as causes constipation xxx
Ubiquinol, pregnancare (conception), Vit D, baby aspirin and turmeric capsule (only because my husband takes them & so I read in to it & figures it wouldn’t do any harm!)
I took pregnacare conception, vitamin d and omega 3 oil tablets. I was also given 5mg of folic acid as a separate tablet by the dr although pregnacare conception already has the required amount of folic acid xx
My clinic recommended pregnancare max

Have your vitamin levels (especially vitamin d) been measured?
No never had them checked. Do you get that checked at your doctors?
I took folic acid, zinc, vit D, C Coemzyme Q10, Omega 3 Fish oils, Iron occassionally. Do they actually help tho? I was told I wasnt ovulating but 2 cycles later im pregnant I'd been taking these vits since feb. My parnter was taking supplements/Vits too
I forgot to say my OH took something called PROXEED PLUS they were sachets and my consultant recommended...we got them on amazon. Xxx
I ditto the above except no vitD at the mo as getting lots of sunshine to boost levels naturally. Fish oils - best from eating oily fish also I take bee propolis but I’ve no idea if it works!!
Also my unit advised us both to take 1000mg vit c, (my hay fever has improved since doing this bizarrely)
All the best xx
We have just started to take Boots His & Hers conception support, which includes a lot of things along with the recommended amount of folic acid. I am also taking 25μg Vitamin D daily, since I am VitD deficient. Not sure whether they will have an impact rather than on our wallet, but who knows?
The GP and the fertility expert at the NHS sub-fertility clinic suggested only folic acid and Vit D.
I saw a nutritionist and she said it’s important to get high quality vitamins. I take Thorne pre-natal multi vitamins, Solgar Folate (as I can’t process normal folic acid), as well as Nordic Omega 3 & DHA. I get them online from the naturaldispensary.co.uk wish you lots of luck!!
