I had a frozen egg transfer on 1st July, and took progesterone/ oestrogen.
I miscarried on 25 July, at 6-7 weeks, passing grey matter that looked like the sac.
Have been in and out of the Early Pregnancy unit (EPU) for scans and hcg tests.
Scans showed nothing in uterus. Hcg rose from 80 to 130 to 260.
Was on ectopic watch with 'pregnancy of unknown location' (PUL) diagnosed.
Then uterine miscarriage suspected. I came off ivf drugs and had another heavy bleed and thought it would be over.
Was told to retest in 3 weeks and if negative then ok. Retested 2 wks later and got strongest positive line ever, prompting further scan.
Told nothing in uterus and to wait another 3 weeks to retest. Progesterone was v.low. Just tetested 1 & 1/2 weeks later expecting fainter line. It's still a strong positive.
Have a 3rd scan at EPU booked for a week and a half's time. If neg. test. I will cancel, however I suspect it will be a positive.
Have had light bleeding for 5 weeks, (alongside x2 big mc bleeds).
Have felt mild pressure in pelvis and shooting pain up my rectum when needing to pass stools (sorry for the tmi).
I'm scared about ectopic but hospital said on the phone that I am not in an emergency situ at mo. and booked scan, so I am reassured to be seen again.
I wonder why the hcg is rising. I would be 12 weeks pg by now. It is a worty. I just want it to be over.

Going through miscarriage is horrible, I can understand you wanting it to be over. My second miscarriage was medically managed and this took weeks.
I have no idea why your HCG is rising, that's a question for the EPU. My body still thought it was pregnant despite medical management until all the "product" had passed. If nothing has shown up in the scans there must be another explanation for your HCG levels. I would still go for the scan for reassurance and ask them about the pain.
It's fair enough for you to be worried and the shooting pain would make me nervous. If you are in too much pain go to A and E, or see if you can have a cancellation appointment sooner??? It's suspicious if hcg rising, but shouldn't it be super high by now?
Just to update you. My HCG was rising because it was an ectopic pregnancy in my left fallopian tube. Sorry for the tmi....
The pelvic pressure was due to extensive internal abdominal bleeding from the 'leaking ectopic'.
At 12 weeks gestation I was lucky it had not ruptured, however, with the low HCG, and general central abdominal pain rather than one sided, it was very hard to diagnose.
The 4th scan located internal blood in my 'pouch of douglas'- space behind womb in abdomen. They thought the ectopic might be there and were reassured it had room to not rupture a tube, but....
The laparoscopy camera found it in my tube near the top (ampullary)!!! I had part of my tube removed, a large ovarian cyst drained, and internal bleeding cleared out. It had not ruptured- yet.
I believe that in sharing info. it helps educate. I learned a lot from researching symptoms. I kept going back, and kept urine testing. My gut instinct was strongly telling me something was very wrong. Trust your instincts everyone.
