Uterine Polyp Removed today...

Hi Ladies,

What are the chances of getting pregnant after Uterine polyp removal ? Any ideas or experience to share?

I got my uterine polyp (1 cm) removed today.

Hi babyhope don't know much about polyps but I do know if in the uterus they can hinder implanation so it's great you've got this sorted. As for chances you have as much chance as any other women your age I think providing there's no issues I think it's normal to fall within 6 months or so. You could use ovulation kits to help things along providing that dose not cause you extra stress. I've been ttc 3 and a half years but I think that's because there have been issues mainly with me. Canceled my ivf last week due to bleeding in between my periods and on my drs advice whose running further tests including hormone blood tests and a pelvic ultrasound ( this is being done via nhs) Do you mind if I ask you how you were diagonsised with polyps? I spoke to my ex fertility nurse (whose very knowable on lady problems) and she thinks my bleeding is due to polyps. Was it easy to treat (sorry to be nosy)? Any info would really help.

Have you been advised to ttc naturally before ivf? Or are you gonna just ttc whilst waiting for ivf my ex consultant said it was surprising how many women fell whilst on an ivf waiting list (providing there's no blocked tubes obviously) wishing you the very best with your journey hope you get your BFP soon xxxx
