Aching and tired

I know I only had FET on Monday. I have had aches and pains since. For last 48 hrs I have had mild muscular contractions and mild aching. I feel generally tired. Is this normal?

Hiya pumpkin, it seems to have eased this evening but I am weeing for Wales and my appetite has gone through the roof. It could just be the medication. I don't have any other signs yet but am hopeful. We got everything crossed lol.

Hi P,

I had lots of aches and pains during the 2ww after FET, so much so that I convinced myself several times that my period was about to come. I think the aches may be our bodies reacting to all the stress, and of course all the hormones we have to take. I also agree about all the wee-ing!

During the 2ww, I just wanted to go to sleep and wake up again 14 days later, ready for the preg test. If only life were that simple. Instead I developed some strange addictions (Eg I had to watch BBC's Bargain Hunt on i-player every night after work.) I hope that things don't get that out of hand for you! But seriously, am thinking of you and wishing you lots of luck.

Thank you noper. All I have done is eat. I was up at 5am eating biscuits then breakfast at 8, dinner at 1 and munchies and ice cream in-between ( not like me at all ). I have had some aches on and off today but nothing to really worry about. I hope this is a good sign tho.

Hi paeroking

I figured it was the progesterone cream. Ravenous, I would have eaten a scabby horse. Whilst weeing. After a nap- during, maybe. I was crampy too, very period like symptoms - including the short temper!

The cream convinces your body it's pregnant so it would be foolish to make too many assumptions but it's nice to feel something happening after all that preamble.

Hope it works out for you

Hiya pokedandprodded I am glad I'm not the only one lol. I'm on prognova and cyclogest passaries. I don't feel tired just ache a lot especially when walking which could be to do with drugs and fibroids growing aswell.

Yeah, that's the bunny - you're fine one minute, next you're so pooped you could curl up on the pavement. I've never been a napper so i found it quite disconcerting but mildly pleasing - I must be pregnant, look at all my symptoms...

For the record I was pregnant, briefly, but unfortunately the little bugger tried to tunnel out using my fallopian tube as an escape route and had to be removed. My stitches itches. But fret not, doesn't happen to everyone and there were always signs that things were going wrong not least of which was not feeling pregnant anymore - not so tired, not being ravenous... and bleeding a lot. They never let me get my hopes up, it was obvious to them it wasn't going to plan.

But your odds of that happening are small. I was just lucky I guess. I'm still planning to give it another go, when my stitching stops itching

Well you put a smile on my face pokedandprodded, I do feel different to last time I had it done but that could just be the drugs. I hope your stitching stops itching soon lol :-) and you have better luck next time.
