I’m wondering if anyone else noticed a drop off in their pregnancy symptoms when they reduced/stopped taking progesterone. I was on 2x200 utrogestan twice a day (two am and two pm tablets) but have halved this in the last few days. My stomach is less bloated and sore boobs feel much better. I should be grateful (?!) but I’m actually just terrified something is wrong, especially as I haven’t even stopped them cold turkey. Has anyone experienced similar? Thanks for your advice xx

I felt awful on Progesterone - I stopped at 14 weeks which does coincide with symptoms reducing in 2nd trimester anyway.
If in doubt do contact your clinic/midwife for reassurance....but all I can say is my symptoms 2nd trimester after going off Progesterone really subsided....
I am now 23 weeks and all seems normal....

Yes my symptoms reduced heaps! Felt so much more ‘normal’ x
I stopped progestrone at 8 weeks but my symptoms were from 6-12 weeks. Now at 17 and feeling fairly normal. So your symptoms may have eased off anyway!
Yes, I stopped progesterone on OTD and my symptoms lifted the more pregnant I was 😂 it was a bit of a headscramble but I’m glad not to have the hardcore progesterone side effects anymore. Just mega heartburn and tiredness now, but I’m glad of it 🙈😅
I’m 7w+1 today so still a way to go, but had a scan last week at 6w+4 and saw two heartbeats and equal sized embryos 🥰 so I’m still dining out on that recent reassurance - but now don’t have a scan until January 😂🤯 just trying to stay positive.
I will be 12 weeks on Boxing Day, all being well, so am looking forward to Christmas with extra fervour.
How are you getting on? Xx
Yes, I felt so much better coming off progesterone. I hadn’t realise how much it was affecting me until I stopped it. Yes unfortunately then I was worrying about feeling better but all ok so far.x
