Pregnancy symptoms that come and go 7 weeks

PrincessGurn1984 profile image

Hi, does anyone have fluctuating pregnancy symptoms? I’m 7 weeks today. All of last week I had constant nausea unless I was grazing or eating that would help and it would subside.

But since Saturday I’ve had no feelings of nausea at all and now it’s made me worried. I think it’s too early for symptoms to taper off?

I had a MMC many years ago so these first 12 weeks are anxious for me x

I am 6w3d today after previous chemical so also pretty nervous. I can’t give you a positive story other than say I am in the same boat - symptoms lessen or go and then I panic, then I worry I am feeling sick because I am anxious and don’t know if that is why or what - it’s all a mind jumble!I have googled it (gotta love and hate dr google) and from peoples experiences I take it as normal.

I’m now thinking do I take another pregnancy test (could I cope with the outcome) I have done 14 Already since otd (11dp5dt) sometimes multiple ones in a day! Last one was Thursday last week! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I replied to this and it’s disappeared 🙈 it’s horrible constantly worrying isn’t it but equally feel so grateful and happy to be in this boat! Could you get an early scan? When I had mine on Friday I was 6+4 and got really clear pictures and saw/heard heartbeat, it definitely gave me temporary reassurance 😂 well for about 24 hours until my nausea disappeared 🤦🏽‍♀️🤪 I probably wouldn’t do another test if I was you, HCG levels don’t drop off a cliff so to be honest it wouldn’t show a true reading now as you’re further along, I also was a serial tested but I think I did my last one at 16dpt x

thanks! My clinic have said they will scan next Tuesday so guess I just have to wait for that! I’ll try and resist the urge to test! :)

Deep breaths. I posted the same question about six weeks ago.. healthunlocked.com/fertilit... xx

Thanks that thread is super useful and everyone’s responses. Wish I could have a scan every day until 12 weeks 😂🙊

It really is a long old wait, but try and keep calm. Honestly my symptoms have been all over the place and some days nothing at all, there doesn't seem to be a pattern or reason for it. Just focus on the things you can do (eat healthy, try and stay calm, gentle exercise etc) and tick each day off as you get through it. Heaps of luck xx

when I was in my first trimester I had symptoms that came and went all the time, I was the same as you with the anxiety so I took quite a few tests haha..

I found going for a private early scan really helped settle me so you could try that! At 6 weeks you may even be able to see a heartbeat xx

needless to say I think the symptoms tapering off for a few days is totally normal, and will come back to bite you on the bum in the very near future xx

Thank you! I did go for a scan on Friday, I was 6+4 but of course the very next days to follow I’ve had no nauseous since, typical! So it did give me 24 hour respite and reassurance 😂 I wonder how often private scans are feasible 🙈 weekly? 🤣

hi PrincessGurn1984 , I’m also 7 weeks and feel the same! Such an anxious time but similar to what others have said, it can be normal to come and go. A positive to note I felt not very pregnant last week after some spotting but saw baby’s heartbeat at 6w+3. Easier said than done but we have to stay positive as we’ve made it this far. Take care of yourself 😊 x

I had this big time during my first trimester - now I am almost 19 weeks I have movement so is has some amount of reassurance....

Take care and congratulations on your pregnancy!
