Hi all. I’ve suddenly stopped feeling sick which I know I should be so pleased about but I now feel nothing at all!
My anxiety seems to be threw the roof lately. Just checking I’m supposed to feel nothing now? Still have a bump and breasts have grown but that’s about it.
Thank you xx

Hi, I am also 17 weeks and finally stopped feeling sick over the last few days. I actually thought this morning I feel nothing at all and then the worry kicks in. I actually had a small bleed this afternoon so went over to maternity assessment unit to be checked out and heard heartbeat and everything seems to be fine. In my first pregnancy I think I had a few weeks after the nausea and sickness of feeling normal before the heartburn came along so I'm going to try and enjoy it!
It definitely helps having a bit of reassurance. I rang the MAU at the hospital due to a bleed and they said I could come in if I wanted to, you could try them or the community midwife number on your notes. If they hadn't agreed to see me I probably would have booked a private scan x
Hello, totally normal I would say, my symptoms all disappeared around week 14-15 and was really worry too because you don't feel much of movement yet. I am 22 weeks and now feel some movements and pains so I know it's there! Hope all goes well for you! Xxx
Hello, I just had my baby 11 days ago after 6 rounds of IVF and my anxiety throughout the pregnancy was massive! It’s so difficult, but do try not to let it get you and at this point it’s a good thing for you if your sickness has stopped.
Everyone is different but My sickness stopped at 12 weeks, and any other symptoms, and I didn’t feel any movements until almost 25 weeks - which made me so so anxious that something was wrong of course - But I had an anterior placenta which was the culprit.
But she made it earthside and was a healthy 9.7 pounds in the end!
One regret I have is not enjoying being pregnant more when I was, I was always waiting for the penny to drop. But it never did thank god. 🙏🏻
You’ve got this and your baby is going to be healthy and the best thing you’ve ever done ❤️
This is our 6th round too! Thank you so much for replying - I woke up and read your message and it immediately made me feel better. So happy you have your little baby now 💕💕 thank you again xx
Totally understandable! I felt fine from week 15 and that made me so anxious. We booked a private scan at 17 weeks for extra re assurance as the wait for the 20 week scan was just too much. It really helped (even if 2 days later anxiety is back again🙈) but definitely normal to be feeling like you do. Try to keep positive, find ways to entertain yourself and hopefully the weeks will go fast till you can feel the baby kicking which will help to re assure!
Thank you so much for your reply. I had a private scan at 16 weeks and I think my husband will go mar if I book another one 😂🤦🏼♀️ I’m feeling a bit better today so will see how it goes. Thank you! Xxx
I get the feeling though! The re assurance of a scan only lasts soo long but you probably do have to start trusting your body and the pregnancy at one point. Anxiety is a crazy thing and there will always be something to worry about along the way. I don’t think I got more confident to tell people as well till 20-22 weeks. And still now at 24 weeks I have moments where anxiety creeps up on me.
Hello lovely. This definitely happened to me. Around 14 or 15 weeks I just suddenly didn't feel sick anymore and had lots of energy! Nothing was wrong, just hormones doing their thing. Don't worry, you get a whole load of different symptoms later on 🥴 xxx
Just an update for anyone following - I’ve just been for a(nother) private scan and all was fine! Baby boy was moving around lots! 💙 Hopefully that will settle my nerves until the 20 week scan in 2 weeks! 😂🤦🏼♀️
