Hi has anyone gone down this route before with any success? My husband and I both go for our backs and they suggested they could help with the bed wetting and also with our 3yr olds chronic night cough so here's hoping! It's so long between consultant appointments we thought it was worth a try.ππ»

Trying the chiropractor for 10 year old still bed wetting
I have not heard of this approach. Would be interested to see if it works.
I would also be very interested to hear how this goes.
Hi all he wants to see her for another 2 sessions before he'll be able to tell if the adjustments he is making are working, she is part of a free trial they are running just now so we really do have nothing to lose . Will definitely let everyone know how it goes x
I would be interested to hear how you go with this. My 11 year old still wets the bed and we have been under the care of the enuresis clinic for years but we don't seem to be getting anywhere!.
So had our second session with the chiropractor, yesterday and he says she has tension in the muscles in the bottom of her spine and so messages are getting blocked on the way to the brain telling her she needs to go. Gonna take some more sessions to work on her but he's hopeful that he can help.
Some success with the chiropractor we are dry all week bar Friday for past 3 weeks, we will assess again on sat but we cut out desmopressin when she started seeing him and she's been dryer more with the treatment than she ever was with the pills. π
Hi all just a wee update to say our 10 yr old is 2 weeks dry today ππ we are putting this down to the chiropractor's adjustments as we stopped desmopressin and changed nothing else in her routine. My husband actually heard her get up for the toilet at 5am so looks like the messages are finally getting through to the brain and hopefully we have turned a corner. The sessions have gone from weekly to 2 weekly as he is happy with her progress too. π
Week 3, still dryπππ
That's fantastic, you must be over the moon.
We tried our son on 2 different strengths of Desmo and it was an utter disaster so I've been keeping my eye out for your treatment therapy. Thank you for keeping us updated, it's very encouraging. Our little girl has some daytime issues too so we may consider this approach for both of them.
Seems to be 100% dry now she still goes for an adjustment once a month but will look to reduce this and hope she stays dry ππ»
