Had a hysterectomy 6 years ago, then another growth removed 3 yrs ago from the top of the viginal canal. Started bleeding again bk in oct. seen surgeon who put me on monthly decapetyl injections (hideous side affects)to shut my ovaries off prior to surgery. They said the endo was attacking bowl & bladder now (suffering bad symptoms from both but esecially bladder) they sent me for an MRI the wk between xmas & new year. Just had the results bk to show NO ABNORMALITIES?? has anyone else suffered this? what happened next? don;t see the surgeron till feb?

thanks in advance xx

Hi

From what I've read an MRI scan will only show endo nodules which are greater than 5mm. My endo (diagnosed by laparoscopy) was several nodules but only 2mm in size so would not have shown on an MRI.

Hope that helps!
