Hello ladies,I just got back from my gp appointment and she actually gave me the letter my gynae sent her,which i had never seen before.It says i have endometriosis with scaring of the uterosacral ligaments,also very painful pelvis with cervical exitation and bilateral forniceal tenderness and that my consultant will review me after the zoladex ends which is in one month,also that i am on the waiting list for a total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo oophercctommy.I am scared but also glad i now have all the information,the gp recommended i ring my gynae direct to let him know the zoladex has not helped so he can maybe push me up the waiting list and has also signed me off work for a further 8 weeks.so quite a successful appointment for a change,but a lot of information to take in.

I hope they can move your operation along for you...I also had Zoladex and it made no difference to my symptoms at all...my gynae is convinced the pain just can't be from my endometriosis, but hasn't given me any other answer's!! Helpful..not!

When did you see the gynae consultant? Then when did you have surgery?
