I am 6 months post bilateral oophectomy hysterectomy and I started four weeks ago with sharp lower abdominal pain that was worse with opening bowels. That eased I had a CT scan which hasn't come back yet and now four weeks on I'm the same again but not as sharp but swollen tummy. I asked the Dr to check my bloods etc full blood count on everything else abnormal has anyone else had this? Sorry to go on but I'm panicking. 🙈

Hi sorry to hear you're in pain. Can you ring gynae secretary and ask for follow up appointment with the surgeon or consultant? Did they say anything about bowel endo after the operation?
I only saw the assistant surgeon and I was being very sick and couldn't take it in really. I had to go to my GP to find the details out but it didn't say a lot. They discharged me so I can't contact them I did try.
Oh no, they always seem so quick to discharge , it'd be good to see or write to same gynacologist you had before the surgery I'd keep ringing to find the CT scans results and ask for an MRI that may show up any bowel issues better than the CT
Let us know how you get on, hope you get some answers and feel better soon
