Dermoid cyst removal

Having my Overy removed next week for having a dermoid cyst on it. Also going to have remaining tube out so sterilised.

Anyone had a dermoid cyst out. What were your symptoms before? Irregular bleeding.

I have huge bloating fatigue and back pain. I'm worried I'm paying for an operation that might not solve all of this.

Also nervous about getting sterilised. I have 2 lovely boys and thought I'd get none. I just hate making this choice. I'd have loved more kids before all this. But know I can't safely have a 3rd c section. Might take a long time to conceive. Am getting older etc etc. My husband days no. So it's the best decision. Just don't want to sign for it. Will have coil out then and take diametrium

I had my dermoid cyst removed under two weeks ago but in an emergency because it torsioned. I don’t feel the heaviness but I’m still in pain. It might be post-operative pain that I’m feeling though and except for the normal bleeding they said is expected after surgery, I haven’t had any. I have had really bad bloating still - but again could be from the surgery still. I hope all of your surgery goes well!

Thanks for the reply! I'm just not pysced for this surgery. Yes 2 weeks isn't long. I'd expect and hope that that will settle. Peppermint tea! It does take longer to recover than they say in my opinion
