Hello 😊
I had my left ovary removed some years ago now and my right ovary “took over”.
In my experience in took a few months to sort itself out after the shock of the surgery but yes, it was then business as usual!
Thank you how old was you when you had it removed If you don’t mind me asking and what was your reasons. I’m 38 and my surgeon said mine was basically strangled and covered in endometriosis. My body feels so battered but I think I’m ovulating at the moment which is obviously a good sign, I think I’ve just got so much anxiety from everything that’s gone on it’s nice to hear positive stories xx
It was a while ago so I can’t remember exactly, but I guess mid thirties? And for the same reason, it had been been eaten up by the endometriosis so it wasn’t able to do its job. Also I was constantly having cysts develop on that side and removing the ovary stopped that.
I did go on to fall pregnant with the remaining ovary; I guess that’s why we get two! Good luck x
