i have had full hysterectomy on 5th feb and already feel like a new woman

Ive had every thing removed pain is there but nothing like the chronic pain ive been living with

relieved its done now recover and get my life back / good riddance to ENDO

Thats amazing news.Im waiting for a full hysterectomy and been waiting 9 months so far and tomorrow is my 12th zoledex injection.

How long was ur wait from signing the forms to surgery

Oh wow geezo!! Unfortunately i was put on the urgent list early 2023 soo having it done feb 2025 is a miracle in my eyes

I feel amazing there is pain there however its completely manageable pain

I was first to be operated on back in recovery roughly 12.30 on ward for 1pm and believe it or not i was home for 3pm next day i did not feel rushed pain relief was topped up throughout

I do wish you well and a speedy op and recovery

I didnt get injections i was on Diegnost with dihydrocodine and cocktail if cocodamol

When in hospital i met a lovely lady we have been through the same and going through the journey together

So good to hear a positive story on here. Really hope this is an end to endo for you. I'm on the list for a full hysterectomy as well. Here's hoping I have a similar experience to you.

Honestly i hope you do too!!

My specialist nurse said i may or should find the recovery alot easier in comparison to what we have experienced for years

Im still waiting for something but i think that my negativity trying to get through

The lady beside me in hospital unfortunately isnt having the best of time recovery wize but we are supporting each other through txt messages

I really do hope you get the op asap and get your life back

yes im 1978 lol

The lady in the bed next to me has a very similar DOB and we only met after the op and have been in contact via txt each day

Its been such a relief going thru it with somebody even tho we were strangers we are helping each other

I hope when your op comes you also have the support / dont be shy at asking any questions

One question i have asked but havent yet got the answer is How much did everything weigh and they assure me they will have the answer at my next visit
