Good morning everyone. I'm after a bit of help if possible. I have a telephone consultation on Thursday with a general gynecologist, and I just have a feeling I am going to get fobbed off, and I really can't carry on the way I feel for much longer. Symptoms are mainly; extremely heavy periods, excruciating pain that stops me from doing daily things and extremely tiredness.
I have tried coil twice, pop, tranexamic acid.
This is my ultrasound results.
What do I need to be asking for in this telephone call? Do I push for a laparoscopy? Thanks in advance for reading xx

hey babe, if you haven’t had the laparoscopy for diagnosis of endo 100% push for that. I spent about 10 years in back and fourth with doctors and finally had the surgery last September. It’s mad we have to push so much for it but you have to be forceful and strong about it, it’s the only way they listen. I had to change doctors in the end for someone to finally take it seriously. 100% push for lap surgery xx
Hey, how did your appointment go? I'm in a similar situation as a recent scan showed I had ovarian cysts which were most likely endometrioma. I did some research after getting the results and found that endometrioma is a type of endometriosis which is often associated with more advanced stages of the condition. According to the NICE guidelines, in cases where endometrioma is suspected or confirmed by scans, you should be referred to a specialist BSGE endometriosis centre . cks.nice.org.uk/topics/endo...
