Bleeding after coil removal

My coil was inserted during a lap in November. Long story short its just affected my mental health so much it had to come out. I'm now bleeding a bit like a period, immediately after removal.. it's been 2 days. My cervix feels sore too. I don't want to have a feel, not sure if this is normal or not? I didn't feel anything whilst it was being removed.

Hi,

It was about a year ago I had mine removed ( also put in during a lap and removed as had moved and was causing pain) but I do remember some bleeding after and some cramping still. If very heavy bleeding or you feel unwell, have any signs of infection etc it's better to contact your GP. Hope it settles soon.

❤️ Sabrina x
