So struggling a lot with pain due to my endo and adenmyosis.

Gp and pain management won’t prescribe me anything sting such as morphine to get me through my severe pain .

Currently on tramadol, paracetamol , antripyline .

Destroyed my body already and I feel like I’m still not taken seriously, pain team done a mri not had results yet , but I don’t need a mri to tell me how bad thing are , had surgery in July 2023 and got a 6 month old so did have a tiny break when pregnant but pains got severe again , I was told I do have adhesions by the surgeon who did my c section .

Any tips on progressing , thinking of asking for a second opinion on the pain team x

The only thing that gave me a reprieve was oramorph and I insisted they have it me for my worst days I was very careful with it but it was my go to. I had to see two different doctors to get it. Stick them out pain is awful.

Was it doctors at your gp ? Or pain management.

I explained to both of them recently that I need something stronger and both have not listened and won’t give it , they says it’s not recommended so frustrating as nothing else works ,x

It was my Gp the original one wouldn't give it to me. I'm allergic to codeine so can't have that. I told them I felt at the end of my tether couldnt function or live a normal life felt like jumping in the water and not coming back up. I was honest and said I needed something to give me a reprieve I also spoke to the consultant about it. Good luck.
