Yeah I have had surgery when on a very heavy period and all was ok x
My consultant told me he wouldn't do the laparoscopy if I was on my period. I emailed his secretary to check with him about me getting a tablet from the GP to delay my period and he said this was fine. My GP prescribed norethisterone. I would like to think he would have told you if he wouldn't do it if you are on your period, but maybe worth checking just for peace of mind.
I had surgery on my period, day 2 (heavy) , surgeon was fine about it. I would assume if they haven't said anything about this , then it will be fine too. Good luck !
