Fertility and surgery

Good afternoon,

I am hoping to conceive in the next year. I came off the pill in September (Desogestrel) and haven’t had a period. How long should I wait before expecting this back, or speaking to a professional about this?

Secondly, I suffer with endo quite bad and since coming off the pill it has been unbearable. I will have 5 days of complete exhaustion and be tossing and turning throughout the night feeling uncomfortable. I will then have a couple of days and nights where I take codeine, paracetamol and Mefenamic Acid to relieve some of the pain. As I want to conceive, is surgery an option now or is it worth trying to power through?

Thank you for any replies. I am feeling very overwhelmed/anxious about it all at the moment, as well as tired 😅
