hey. I’m nearly 2 months post laparoscopy + official diagnosis; have had the hormonal coil fitted during my op and my skin and hormones have been mental.
I’ve been having random nights where I just cannot sleep, no matter how tired I am, or seemingly not very anxious, I just can’t sleep. I just lie there waiting to drift off and nothing. Does anyone else struggle with this ? Any tips ? It’s very annoying. X

I struggle with sleep alot 😅 and find it's normally the days Im most tired that I don't sleep ... No idea why.
I mostly listen to audiobooks as sometimes that helps but not always.
I have started to look into sleep supplements due to talking with GP. I have been put on amitriptyline once was for pain management but it makes you drowsy and honestly was the best sleep I have had since being a kid but I don't want to rely on that if I don't have to.
I would try going to the GP. If they are awkward keep a little log of when your not sleeping sometimes it helps for them to see that your collecting data on it... I have done it for a few things now and I always find I get better help when I do this
Also warm milky drinks can help sometimes but also I just enjoy a good hot chocolate 😁
