I recently have been having really bad nightmares and now my family have said that I was sleep walking which is something I have never done in my life! I also get very forgetful. Has anyone else had these sort of problems?

I'm not sure to tell the truth, but if you think about it a bit logical, the constant pain affects the personality in a mental and psychological way too. If we are constantly in pain, depressed and upset/stressed, sleeping bad is the least could happen! x

Its true what you say but I feel lucky in that my pain doesnt seem as bad as other ladies pain does. Dont get me wrong I do feel at times that the words "Its not fair, i've had enough" jump about in my head when am at my worst.

I agree with jojo, stress and anxiety can definitely reveal itself in your sleep. Are you on painkillers? mine give me the weirdest dreams...very strange indeed! x

I only take painkillers when am at my worst which thankfully is not every day or sometimes if i am lucky I can manage a couple of weeks. Most of my pain is only short lived, it can last a few minutes to 1hr or so. I really try not to take them. I do get a constant heavy, ache, discomfort in my pelvic area all the time but feel painkillers don't work for that.

I tried tramadol for 2 days last year and I was having the worst nightmares...needless to say I never took them again!!! x

My husband takes tramadol for his pain relief and I have on the odd occasion took his but I find that they are great for putting your body into a relaxed state but I do not sleep a wink with them, it's crazy!

Not on any meds or injections just now. Had my 3rd lap 3 weeks ago but gyno said it was too dangerous to laser it because it was at sac of douglas. I have to go back to speak to him in a few weeks to talk to him about what the next steps will be. So am afraid I have no excuses as to why my head is acting up. lol

I feel I am getting worse as I get older! It can be scary yes. My concentration levels are terrible. Dont think anyone believes me when I say that I have listened it's just I cant remember!

That's probably the best plan. I can't manage without them, my pain is constant, but I definitely get used to them and every now and again have to take a step up to a stronger type. Not a great cycle to get into and you're wise to avoid them if you can. Tramadol dreams are completely nuts!!

Im certainly no expert but my sister suddenly started sleep walking when she was very stressed a few years ago. That's what makes me wonder if its the emotional side that might be causing you to sleep walk. I think its stressful even without the pain x
