Hi, I’ve been prescribed these two by the GP to treat my pain. Can you please tell me if I understand well - so the landoprazole I should take like after food together with mefenamic acid at the same time or leave some period inbetween? I’m trying to figure out how am I going to sort an order o taking everything (I also take sertraline and I was prescribed Cyclizine Hydrochloride for nausea 🤯
So to get over nauseua first cyclizine, then once i can eat lansoprazole with mefenamic?
Have you been taking this med ? was it helpful to get over the pain ?

I haven't taken lansoprazole but I used to take the other two regularly. The mefenamic acid I took just after food as it used to trigger heartburn otherwise for me. My doctor told me to take it 1-2 days before my period and then throughout my period. The cyclizine hydrochloride I took as soon as I had any nausea. I found these medications really helpful, especially the mefenamic acid for bad cramps.
A quick chat with your pharmacist should be made to get the best guidance from a medical professional. By all means our experience can bring comfort as we get it. Personally, there are things we don’t understand as the vast majority of us are not medically trained. Please run any advice from her by a Pharmacist.
I hope that brings the best of both worlds for you. It such a horrible, traumatic and lonely experience for you. Wishing you, sincerely some relief and comfort as you journey onwards. So much love to you 🫂💞
Hi, I am a nurse, you should speak to a pharmacist but lansoprazole is usually advised to to take 30 mins before food or other medications as it is a tummy protector and mefenamic acid would usually advise take after eating as it can be harsh on the tummy hope that helps
