Zoladex injection

I began the zoladex injection in January of this year, I then had a laparoscopy in March which diagnosed my endometriosis. I had light bleeding for a couple of weeks after and then it completely stopped. Since then, I've had 2 episodes of heavy bleeding lasting 10 is days. No hormonal treatment has helped me so far and I'm in such horrible pain all the time.

Has anyone experienced the same with zoladex and if so, what should I do? Is it just not working to put my body into menopause?

My GP doesn't really know what to think and I can't get a hold of my gynaecologist. I am expected to have an appointment about my next steps but no date yet.

Hi you may well be bleeding from the laparoscopy as I bled for weeks after mine. I'm on zoladex and I'm still bleeding but I've really lowered my estrogen and increased my progesterone which has helped. Give the zoladex time to work again. I don't think two episodes of 10 days is too bad considering your operation. If your estrogen is high you'll continue to bleed. It took me 3 months for it to calm down but mine runs out at 10 weeks and i need the next one then. If I don't stay on top of it I hemorrhage all the time. For some women (like me) it reduces the bleeding but never stops it. Nobody can tell me why xxx
