Hysterectomy surgery- odd pain

Hi all, I had a laproscopic hysterectomy on 27th march, first 5 days as you would anticipate had pains, following 4 days felt much better, now since yesterday I feel shattered, and keep getting these pulling/spams sensation pains, which feels like its coming from the ovaries... is this normal? Or something to worry about? The Gynaecology team at the hospital never seem to answer their phone so can't get any help from them! Also urine smells very foul, but have no other symptoms of an infection.... is this also normal?? Would appreciate any advice xx

Hi

Possibly worth getting a test for uti just in case it is infection, especially if there is a bad smell.

Did they remove Endo at the same time?

I have my appointment tomorrow to remove the stitches "holding up my ovaries" and they said they will test for uti just in case. And yes when removing everything (bar ovaries) this also covered off the removal of all endo x

Hey! It ended up being a kidney infection which was caused when the hospital put my catheter back in as I couldn't go to the toilet whilst at hospital... been on antibiotics for 2 weeks now and it doesn't seem to be clearing up :(

Sorry about your pain 🌷

I had horrible pain in kidneys for 2 nights (took ora morph) when they removed stents and put a catheter back, but fortunately it cleared out 💛

Try to boost your immune system with natural food
