Lower left Abdo Pain

For context I have diagnosis of PCOS and Deep Pelvic Endometriosis. For the past 2 weeks I’ve had this constant and recurring pain in my lower left abdomen since my last period. It seems to worsen after I eat or if I sit down for longer than 20 minutes. This pain can radiate to my sides, back and down my legs. Along this I’ve been having intermittent nausea, lightheadedness and feeling exhausted or overly tired even after rest. None of my pain meds are working as they used to and my next gynae appointment isn’t until end of July. My GP won’t do anything and I’ve been waiting scans for 4 months now. Anyone having similar symptoms or can offer any advice?

Why are you under your GP? Deep endo must only be treated in a specialist endo centre . Severe endo (rectovaginal disease) most common affects the left side and these symptoms are typical.

I am under a specialist Endo gynae but my appointment isn’t till the end of July and everytime I’ve tried to contact them the receptionist sends me back to my GP :/

You should have the contact for the endo centre’s nurse. Are you in England?

Where exactly are you in the specialist centre process? At the first consultation you would be seen by the centre’s nurse who would take details of your quality of life and symptoms and review the paperwork sent with the referral so scan/lap reports that diagnosed you. This is all then be passed to the lead surgeon who would discuss the best treatment plan with the multidisciplinary team and you would then be called back to agree a plan. Are you awaiting excision?

I actually saw the lead surgeon/Gynaecologist first. I was diagnosed through MRI after a trip to A&E. The report was then sent to my GP who referred me to Gynae. We are discussing surgery. I have not met with a specialist nurse in the process.
