Millinette

hi everyone After putting it off for years I caved and have now been taking the pill (millinette) for a year for symptoms suggestive of endo (painful periods). I take the pill break every 21 days as recommended but still have painful “periods” (although they are not as bad as they used to be).

So far I’ve tried Yasmin and Millinette and both have led to low mood and severe anxiety. I only took Yasmin for a week and persevered with Millinet for 3/4 weeks. I’m hoping to run pills back to back to prevent bleeding.

Since my diagnosis I cannot get settled and I have tried the Mirena Coil, Depo, and then got thrown on Levest/Millinette by my GP. I am not having a great time on the combined pill, hence the debate of gong back on Progesterone Only.

I’m in second month of starting millinette pill when taking all is well when I take my 7 day break I experience intense tummy pain and headache and my period is heavy with bad clots. Has any one else had this and did it settle after a few months ?

I've been on this pill for nearly 3 years I think. Past couple of years if I take the pills back to back for more than 2/3 months I get pelvic pain/ cramping. Sometimes I'll walk up the stairs and get painful cramping. Never any blood though. I'm 20. Should I be concerned? When the cramps get too much

For context, I was due to see my specialist next month with a view to starting a mini pill like Millinette alongside keeping the coil in as he thought it could be too low a dose being released by the coil itself but now I am left wondering what to do...

I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis but a mild case, I have severe symptoms so advised to go back on to the millinette pill. I came off it a year ago as I was 30 and been on it since I was 16.

I’m currently taking Millinette - 3 packs on 1 week off - this is my second break and I’m in absolute agony. I haven’t had a period since January I was diagnosed in March with Endometriosis. I have pain everyday even after the operation and I am currently on an 8 week pain management plan.

I went back to the doctors who put me on millinette but advised that this is just a shot in the dark and she doesn’t think this will stop the bleeding, it’s just a case of trial and error till my scan. She recommended the coil If my scan came back clear, has anyone else been on this pill?

I’m currently on Millinette which I take for three months and have a break but I haven’t bled since January. Last night I had 2 pain episodes that felt like contractions. It was all on my right side which I had never experienced before. I was violently sick with the second pain episode.

I switched birth control to “millinette” and since having sex recently, I’ve been bleeding! It’s mostly afterwards, even up to a whole day after having sex, this then makes me super anxious about bleeding when I do have sex!!!

So I'm considering trying a low dose combined pill called millinette but I'm quite concerned about the health risks with being 39. My blood pressure is okay and weight okay but sometimes I can be quite imobile for days at a time due to pain and also my stress levels can be pretty high.

I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this with taking millinette or taking any pill back to back, i thought you couldn't bleed when on the pill.

Is it worth going back onto Millinette (which worked for me) myself, or asking the doctor next week? I'm just terrified they'll tell me to stick it out til 3 month but I'm losing the will to live and the pain from my head and period is unreal.

I am on Millinette 21 day pills and have taken them all this month as normal. I took my last pill on Monday morning, but had unprotected sex on Sunday night. Even though I'm coming up to my break I'm still covered contraception wise aren't i?

I read that it's to do with low oestrogen, which fits given I just came off Millinette and went on to progesterone only. Anyone had a similar experience? Please tell me it wears off after a while bc I'm struggling to put up with it!

I was recently told to run my pill (Millinette) together and only take a break when I started bleeding, then take 4 days off and go back into running it continously.

I've been on millinette for about a month now to try and help control the symptoms of Endo. When I first started taking it as advised by my gp on day one of my period, instead of having a 7 day cycle it lasted 15 days. I had 3 days off and then spotting.

I'm also on the combined pill 'millinette' perhaps it could be from that??? I'm sort of presuming it's the endometriosis because I've seen a lot of people mention this as a symptom and I have quite a lot of other symptoms from endometriosis that I continually struggle with. Thanks for any help X

In short, I've been on this for 5 weeks without a break and have had constant bleeding getting progressively heavier - now with clots and endo cramps back (nearly 3 weeks post lap where no endo was found) as well as serious mood swings, tender breasts, low libido (sorry if TMI) and some nausea as well
