I take pill back to back and its removed the majority of the awful period pain agony i used to go through
Day to day still battle endo/ibs type pain. Lower ab, back pain etc my endo is also on bowels so still get bit of pain but usual eases once gone toilet. Tried a dietician to wrk out ibs but its so bloody complicated with so many factors affecting endo i gave up! Im considering surgery maybe as an option but no guarantees with this crappy disease
Can get a bit tired sometimes
Mostly manage with hot water bottles. Painkillers or peppermint capsules sometimes, try and exercise/yoga, healthy diet etc
I'm on the combined pill which I take back to back (no periods) and still have symptoms daily! It's totally not true that you don't have symptoms if you don't have a period as endo is a whole body illness, not just reproductive one.
My daily symptoms are bowel problems, pelvic pain, pulling/tugging feeling from the adhesions, fatigue and sometimes nausea. Admittedly it's slightly better than when I was having periods but the symptoms are definitely still there! If I were you I'd try and see a different doctor who might know more about it.
Your DR is SO WRONG! I have been on the lot! No periods (barely in-between the different hormones) I've been on the combined pill, had Zoladex injections, now on the Mirena Coil and my endo is just as bad the whole way through! 😟
I have flare ups (stomach bloats), pelvic pains, back pains, leg pains, nausea pretty much 24/7 at the minute, finding it super difficult to go to the toilet (bowels), constantly tired / fatigued... its DRAINING! All of this with no period at all. I've had 4 previous surgery's too, to burn away my endo through laparoscopy.
I have a Gyne appointment on Monday 2nd Oct as its coming to the stage of not being able to cope with day to day at the minute!
I hope some sort of hormone therapy works for you!! 🤞🤞 This is such a horrible disease!!
