Are endometriosis lesions visable laprascopically during your whole cycle? Or only during and right before your period? Is there a best time during the cycle to schedule lap surgery?

I do t know about the adhesions, but the endometriomas (cysts) that I had an both ovaries for many months and showed up on both my manual and mri scans, weren’t as high in number when they physically went in on the operating table four weeks ago. I was told on the morning of the op that it was looking more like open surgery for me, but was please they had managed via keyhole when I awoke. They cysts are full of blood and so the body can apparently reabsorb them and get rid of them (seems odd) I don’t think the lesions can just disappear though as they are built up of tissue. As for scheduling an appointment around your period, I am not sure, there will be someone here who has a much better knowledge or understanding of that area than me.

I just had a lap and I was worried it had to be a certain point in cycle. Mine didn’t needed to be, but do check with your gynae. Hope it goes well :)
