pregnancy post excision surgery

I had excision surgery 9 weeks ago, I’ve had 2 periods since. I thought I’d ‘magically’ become pregnant afterwards and unfortunately still experiencing the same pain and no pregnancy despite trying our hardest. Has anyone become pregnant since their excision surgery? Trying to hold on to hope where I can x

I haven't personally but I do know of a few people who have! Definitely don't give up hope, I'm waiting for my second excision surgery and will start trying after that.

Sorry I can't give you more, and hoping for the best for you XXX

I just found out I’m pregnant and this is 3 months post my third laparoscopy (will be my first baby). I had been told that it wasn’t possible prior to surgery but that they were hopeful afterwards. Good luck! It is an emotional rollercoaster but you’ve got this!

I did! It took many wasted years of infertility to finally get a diagnosis of my endometriosis and my third surgery but after that I had my now 4 year old daughter. Fell with her second month after surgery I was 37 having her. Since her we've had a late loss 2 miscarriages and now have our 17 month old daughter and I was 40 having her. Hope this offers some hope it can happen. Fingers crossed your time is coming soon ☝🏻 Xx

Thank you for sharing your amazing story, I’ve had my 4th period post surgery and unfortunately still experiencing a lot of pain with them and pelvic pain throughout the month that it’s hard to believe they actually excised it! I don’t think I’ve had any relief from surgery so I can’t believe it’ll be any different pregnancy wise because I feel all the same pain as before excision surgery. Trying to remain hopeful and manifest as much as possible xx

I honestly thought we wouldn't ever have a baby let alone 2. I feel for you I know how dark that place feels🥲. I can recommend serrapetase which I was recommended years ago by another lady on healthunlocked- since I take it my endo pain is far less tho I still have heavy periods. It also gets rid of scar tissue which can cause endo pain. I also take bee propolis and royal jelly which has also improved my endo symptoms to be much manageable. We were very lucky it was only my endo that caused infertility everything else was normal. I found my pain was improved in pregnancy but I did have random bleeding n my successful pregnancies which no medic knew why but think it was my endo that caused it. We also used clearblue ovulation tests to try to maximise our chances. It can take healthy couples with no issues 6 months to a year to conceive if endo was the causing infertility it's only been 4 months it's not really that long ( tho I know every month feels too long) I am sure you will catch soon 🤗 Xx

Thanks for all the advice, I’ll defo look into the recommendations, it really helps hearing from other women who’ve travelled a similar road as it can feel so isolating xx
