Femseven conti patches

Hi,Has anyone been prescribed femseven conti patches? I've been prescribed these by the nurse at the GP surgery as an alternative to evorel as they were making me bleed and my anxiety was really bad. I've read on the packet they could increase fibroids so not sure I should be taking them. I'm on 3 month Prostap injections. I've tried tibolone but couldn't sleep when taking them. I can't get hold of my endometriosis nurse so thought I'd see what anyone on here thinks. I'm really struggling with hrt side effects so thinking of going down the herbal route instead.

Thanks for reading X

Hi I’m sorry I can’t be much help but am in a similar position trying to find a HrT that helps. I’m on Prostap too and feel so much better but now that I’ve been on it for over 6 months they want me to take hrt. Tibolone made me bleed and I’ve been on Evorel conti for a week and can’t stand it, so emotional, anxious, nauseous. So hard to know what’s best. Good luck with the new patches

Hi,Thanks for your reply. I couldn't get the new patches to stay on, especially in this hot weather. I was fed up with feeling anxious all the time, bloated and constantly bleeding so I gave up on hrt. I spoke to a nurse first who suggested talking to a pharmacist about herbal or over the counter remedies. So I've been taking a menopause supplement, calcium, and evening primrose oil. Its early days, still getting hot flushes and achey legs but feel less anxious and no bloated tummy. Fingers crossed they work! X
