HiHow are you today?
I’ve had Butec patches, made my skin itchy unfortunately. I’ve had Oramorph for ages and recently added Morphine slow release capsules, 10mg twice a day. They’ve helped a little, more with mind side, bit with pain.
I’ve not felt any more tired and can still get out from that perspective.
If you do try the patches do it at a time where you don’t have to go out for a day or so and can judge how you feel.
I’d be really interested in how you get on with them
I'm in pain but feeling good today how about you .Yes they are the butec ones. I'm going to try them 2moz when I've got family around just incase they make me sleepy as don't wanna fall asleep with lil man running around so I will let you know how I get on with them on Monday if that's ok x
I really hope they work for you 🙂 🤞🤞look forward to hearing how you got on.and you keep pain under control today.
Just heated up wheat bag
Hi how are you today. just an update today has been the first day I've not been in bad pain I still have a little bit but nothing major I've been able to play with my lil boy I've not been able to do that for along while so I think the patches are working but only time will tell how well they are going to work in the future x
That’s really good 🙂 bet he was pleased, a bit more one to one time. It’s early days, very promising though.
Yer he loves it he even been sleeping alot better and not wanting to be in bed with me so far so good fingers crossed they keep working
That’s great 🙂 he’s getting a bit of independence as well. How’s pain? Patches doing the right thing?
They are doing ok I'm in little bit of pain today but that's where I think it wearing of a bit as gotta change them same day every week only got tonight to go then I can put new one on
I found that, if it hadn’t been for my skin I’d still be using them. Did try two 5mg strength, didn’t make much difference.Still good they are helping 🙂
Maybe you can plan something for the weekend out and about with your son, he’d love that even if just the park.
Yer I have taken him to the woods and he loved it we I've even been able to go to the park with him and his dad I actually cried seeing what I had been missing out
That’s so good they are helping 😀 and you all enjoyed going out. You’ll be able to make up for lost time, make sure you pace yourself, easy to do too much.
Let us know how it goes, always good to hear when something works 🙂
That’s great things are better now, makes such a difference 🙂 I don’t have kids but they are very intuitive to things around them.
GP’s, considering it’s women who have the kids, are lacking in the same intuition 😂, even the women.
hi do you mind if l ask what county you are in, not the town that would be to invasive, l am under a hospital in South Yorks, live in Notts, and they are saying 3 to 6 minths max at present and hopefully mid April...I am 74 so 20 years past menopause thankfully, am to have lap to remove a 9cm cyst the ovary it us attached to and also the healthy ovary as a precaution. wishing you well 🤗
Hi I'm in Kent I did have a 5cm one on my ovary but when I had my last scan everyone refused to tell me how big it is but put me forward for op to get my ovary and tubes that side out and anything else if they feel they need to. I was put on waiting list November last year . And when I phoned to find out how long I got told nxt year by then my lil 1 will be 3 so be harder to recover at home as my partner got to work
