Decapeptyl and bone thinning

A quick summary of my journey so far:

I was diagnosed with extensive endometriosis in October 2015. I have had two surgeries to removed cysts and endometriosis from my peritoneum, ovaries, bladder and bowels. Following both surgeries luckily I conceived and now have two boys. After my second son was born in December 2018, I experienced bleeding everyday inducing anaemia and severe pain. I was put on Decapeptyl injections 11.25mg every 3 months and take tibolone daily. I had this for two years and it was then stopped as my DEXA showed significant osteopenia (5th centile for pelvis). I started on the combined pill which then caused my symptoms of bleeding and pain to return. As the Decapeptyl hugely improved my QOL, I was restarted back on this after 8 months off. I am due another DEXA scan to see what further damage has been done!

I am interested to see if others have been on Decapeptyl for as long as I have? Whether they have had the same impact on bone density? And whether anyone has any suggestions for a good alternative?

Many thanks.
