decapeptyl side effects

Hi,

I am on decapeptyl 3 month injection for endometriosis and fibroids. I am waiting on a hysterectomy. My pain has greatly reduced from the decapeptyl but I have had nasty side effects including swelling, odema and weight gain. Will these side effects subside once I stop the injection post surgery?

Hi i have this too, I'm ob four weekly prostrap. I have I'm sure read somewhere, that it goes once we stop having the injections. Sending you a big hug x 🤗

Hey I was on decepeptyl for 8 months with monthly injections. I put on a lot of weight. My boobs were double the size. My stomach very round. Overall just puffy. It took me a year and a half to get my body back to what is normal for me. I would never have taken the injections had I known the side effects. We are all different thought so my body could take longer than yours for the side effects to disappear x

Thanks. This is what I'm worried about. I feel very uncomfortable after just 3 months. I might need to go back to my gp/ gynae
