leg pain while on period
hi, you need to go back to your doctor asap. It could be a cyst or what I’m more worried about is a more dangerous side effect from the pill.
I I had leg pain and cramps, went to A&E and found out I had a cyst which was pressing on my sciatic nerve.
Hey 💕yes I can relate I get pain in my left leg all the time when I’m on my period it gets more painfull if you are not happy on that pill and it’s giving you side affects just tell your doctor see if he can give you something different you shouldn’t stick anything with awful side affects x
I had very bad leg pain too it was a cyst .
Ask your doctors to refer you for a ultrasound scan , and tell them your concerns don’t let them fob you off x
I'm sorry to hear you are having such a bad time. You didn't give detail on why the progesterone pill is giving you trouble but from my own experience I had a progesterone intollerance from the mirena coil, which is progesterone. It made me feel so ill. It is worth ruling this out. Look up the symptoms and check if this is relating to your experience. I don't know why but doctors don't even seem to acknowledge that it's an issue. Sometimes your body needs time to adjust to a new medication but if your issues are on going, remember it's your body and no one can insist you continue to take something you feel is making you feel worse. You end up swapping one issue for another x
hi Annie. Sorry to hear about your pain. I’ve found leg pain a very common endo symptom. I’ve not had arm pain but I did get shoulder pain and read that could be related. Weird! I’ve had the leg pain both with a cyst (which was removed) and without. I have the Mirena coil which I find much better than the pill. But it’s so individual and you might need to try a few different hormonal treatments to find the best one for you. You shouldn’t have to put up with a treatment that is causing you problems when there are others available. Good luck.
