Last couple of hours I’ve been experiencing horrendous pains in my bikini area which are similar to the pains I get during my period however that’s not due yet. The area is swollen and painful to touch or even move my lower body. And the pain is getting worse
I’ve tried CBD and hot water bottle to relieve the pain but it’s had no effect.
I am starting to lose it as I am back to square one and my gynae won’t even see me or acknowledge my pains but I can’t see another gynae without him referring me to someone else 🤦🏻♀️
Does anyone know what this pain could be?
I’m also not pregnant

Hiya, I get these pains quite often, I know how horrific they can feel and doctors are no help other than telling me to take some pain killers or try a hot bath. I haven't got a diagnosis but if it gets worse, I'd advise a trip to A&E just to be on the safe side for you. It could be ovulation pain or an infection but if strong pain medication does nothing then I would try and seek a medical professional.
I get these at ovulation. Keep logging all your symptoms so that your GP and / or consultant can get a clear picture. Good luck and hope you’re feeling better soon x
I am experiencing the same at moment as am ovulating 😥 I find best to try rest as much as you can during this time mid cycle really and maybe try ibuprofen and paracetamol two every 2 to 3 hours apart or as you feel helps along with a heated pillow etc. I agree though if this feels off to you get it checked as could be anything but I have had two awful experiences of A&E so maybe try GP to check for infection first rather than waiting in agony for hours at hospital 😥 Hope you feel better soon 😥🌸🌼xx
My GP won’t do anything as he just tells me it’s the job of my gynae who doesn’t give a shit and won’t see me. As my periods are only just starting again, I don’t know if this is ovulation or just a random pain before my period (I used to get this a lot) xx
I understand what your saying I’ve been round in circles with useless GPS and hospital referrals since I was your age and was only two years ago I was properly diagnosed with Endo as had a large chocolate cyst on left ovary then a laparoscopic op to remove it and since then have become steadily more unwell now having constant pain in lower back hip and legs as is affecting sciatic nerve. I get so scared when my period is due as past two months has been such heavy bleeding and severe pain that I’ve been taken in to hospital twice but this just made me more unwell being treated like crap in A&E so I have more or less given up with NHS now and done a lot research into trying to alleviate pain etc naturally which for past 3 weeks seems to be helping a bit. Try and read book by Wendy K Laidlaw called Heal Endometriosis Naturally you can find it on Amazon. For myself now anything is worth a try. I hope this may help you a bit. I really hope you get some help have you someone close you can talk to? I know how lonely and scary it can get 😥 xxx
Yeah I’ve tried a few natural remedies and diet changes. I will give the book a try as I’m always looking for new ways.
I have my boyfriend who is amazing but I always feel bad for constantly complaining that I’m in pain. He’s been there from the beginning when I first went to the doctors for a diagnosis and he learnt more about endometriosis so he could understand. xx
Ok glad you have him I am similar have a partner who was with me two years prior to my becoming very unwell and I too feel like such a burden now crying with pain all the time but don’t feel bad it’s not your fault remember that and I’m sure he knows that too ☺️ I hope your pain eases soon xxx
