Just past the 6 week point after laparoscopy excision surgery for Endo. Still spotting with fresh and brown blood most days.

I am struggling to wear things like jeans but not a big issue, feeling much more mobile and better, don't think there is signs of infection.I did catch that horrible flu virus going so my inflammation levels were up for a good few weeks.

I am taking Degesteral mini pill.

Is this normal and just wondering if I wait a few more weeks before contacting my Dr?

Any info would be great it's so mixed online and I've not been given any info from hospital.

Plus it's been christmas period so not even going to try and contact the NHS.

Many thanks all

That sounds like what I had. The spotting didn’t stop until I added dienogest on top of the Mirena and then it’s been great

it’s what I experienced in Oct to Dec with my second lap with excision. The belly button wound got infected, quite common. It’s taken longer than ablation did to fully recover. I am not worried at all.

My follow up appointment from Oct is in August LOL……I don’t think so!! The Secretary is gonna be getting as many calls as it takes 😂🤣😂🤣to get that sooner!!

Hope that helps.

It might be that pill causing the bleeding? I’m the same with it, some days spotting brown blood and other days it’s fresh red and heavier 🫣 my consultant has suggested I double up to stop the bleeding, not sure if that’s the right thing though!
