I had a diagnostic laparoscopy for Endo in March and received a diagnosis - they removed some Endo tissue. Unfortunately, I'm still having on going chronic bowel symptoms. My surgeon suggested a nutritionist, however the one he's suggested isn't in business anymore.
Anyone have any suggestions for London based nutritionists? And what diets have helped people the most?
Many thanks xx

Hi there, I am also in search of aa Endo nutritionist in London, when I find a good one I will let you know.
I recommend a book called Heal Endo, recently released by someone who has endometriosis, she goes very deeply into diet and supplements. I have tried everything she has suggested and it definitely works.
It’s not a one size fits all, so you will have to eliminate certain foods one at a time to see what triggers the symptoms. Alcohol and sugar are definitely ones to get rid of first. Then add in certain foods you may have been missing that help your body heal.
It’s a very thorough book, she talks about exercise , hormones and surgery too
I’m a nutritionist (RNutr) and have a PhD in nutrition and dietetics. I do not specialise in Endo but please be careful of advice in this area given by those who are not properly qualified. There is a lot of misinformation which can be misleading or even harmful. You should choose a well experienced nutritionist that is on the Association for Nutrition register (the only register for nutritionists in UK that are trained to a standard) or ideally a dietitian xx good luck 😘
I found an anti-inflammatory diet made a big difference to my endo symptoms. Everyone is different and reacts to different foods but for me taking out wheat, sugar, caffeine and alcohol really helped along with adding in plenty of anti-inflammatory foods like fruit and vegetables. Good luck.
