hello, I’ve recently had a laparoscopy 2 weeks ago and I got diagnosed with endometriosis on one of my ovary’s, in my bowel and in my uterus. I had it burnt off and cut off in some areas. It has been 2 weeks and 2 days and I still have groin pain and pelvic pain what feels like period pains and doesn’t seem to be going off, has anyone else experienced this to after there surgery? 😖 I have tired to contact my doctors, ring the hospital and the gynaecologist to see what was happening and if this was normal and I can’t get through to anyone

post op laproscopy
There is a burning, crampy sensation that extends to the back of my knees, I have been taking pain killers it takes it off a little bit but once it’s worn off the pain comes back again, I know it has only been 2 weeks since my surgery which isn’t a long time but due to it being on my ovary and places where it hasn’t grown before I was just wondering if it was normal to have this pain, as 3 years ago I had a laparoscopy where it grew on different places to where it has this time and the pain went within a week and half
hi. I had my 3rd lap on the 13th November. And I’m getting the same pain.
it can take a few months for all the pain to go and with excision and ablation it’s often difficult to know healing pain and surgery pain so try to be patient and give it a bit longer. All really normal for first month I’d say to feel quite intense pain.
Hello, I had surgery 5 months ago and post op pain was awful. I had surgery in July and only got relief for 1 month in November as symptoms are back now. I completely understand your frustration! Hope you got somewhere x
