Bowel bleeding but clear sigmoidoscopy

Hi all

I had a transvaginal scan which confirmed I had both endometriosis and adenomyosis.

I also have bowel bleeding only during my period. I recently had a sigmoidoscopy which was negitive.

Doctor has asked to see me to discuss what happens next

My question is what happens next

you should have a laparoscopy. Sigmoidoscopy always misses endo as its on the other side. If you have bowel endo get it removed before it gets worse. Also i have been told that adeno is better managed when endo is removed.
