I had my 2nd laproscopy for endo 2 weeks ago. No new growth found except on remaining fallopian tube which was also full of fluid. I felt amazing the first week after surgery but old pain on left side has returned where my remaining ovary is. There is a burning, crampy sensation that extends to my knee. I also feel it a bit on the right where an ovary was removed 3 years ago. Ibuprofen takes the edge off, but I am wondering if this pain will eventually reside so I don't need to continue taking it. Still feeling lightheaded as well. I have a follow-up this week and will communicate things to my obgyn/surgeon. I really need to be able to function without this pain once my kindergartners arrive. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi dvanlaw, did they actually treat anything on your recent lap? You mentioned there was no new endo which is something to be grateful for but your tube was full of fluid - did they do anything to remedy that?
I had a lap in December 21 where they ablated endo but left a stuck ovary in place. In the weeks after the lap I was convinced it had made no difference but by around 7-8weeks I realised I wasn't having pain in my pelvis at all. It seems the pains I'd been feeling up until then was simply my body healing.
Maybe give it some more time and go back to your gynae if there's been no improvement.
