My last coil fell out 6months after I had it put in in a c section.
I feel like I'll be persuaded to have another one the same again. What's the reason for it coming out?
I'm worried the next one could move Nand cause damage. It was so painful last time.
consultant I saw today was really surprised it came out so quickly but said nothing more. Could it have been put in wrong or is it an endo problem? Junior Dr who checked it didn't seem to know how to check it

Hi I had Mirena coil for 7 years and its was the best thing I ever had I also had add on mini pill. Best of luck no idea why it fell-out probably not put in correctly x
Have you been bleeding whilst it has been in place? I had 5 inserted over the space of 2 years because my body just didn't like them but they suggested it could have been because I was heavily bleeding and passing large clots it was moving the coil with it.
Yeah I can't remember to well as was last year. I was bleeding less then normal. Then I felt it move. Then I bled a lot! So mightve been that. 5 is dedication! I will get another but don't think I could keep going until 5! Was worst bleeding I've ever had
Yeah looking back I should have stopped at like number 3 max, but I was desperate for some pain relief and was told "if it stays in long enough and has chance to settle down it will really help" 🤔... Safe to say it didn't work for me 😂😂
My first Jaydess coil came out once in the shower after a particularly crampy period but was fine and no damage and they replaced with a Mirena coil so slightly larger. On my third one now after two have been seen in ultrasounds to have moved position (still in safe zone just not ideal positioning). They never have an answer for why and if it’s something to pay attention to in terms of is this my body saying nope don’t want this here but honestly the thought of my periods back without the coil simply isn’t worth the risk of it expelling again and since Mirena it’s never fully expelled and they’re happy to check it with ultrasound every so often so that gives me peace of mind.
