I was in the shower tonight and I could feel my coil hanging down I tried to put it back in but I think it has fallen out as I tried to feel for it but can't feel it. Now my belly is hurting and I feel sick. Why has this happened.

From what I have read before, sometimes the body just expels them. It can be from gravity, muscle contractions, or just plain the body boots it out.

Thank you. It was a Dr at whipps cross hospital that put it In.

This happened to me, I was bleeding heavily too. Go to dr, or a&e as I did for them to remove it. it needs a dr to place it correctly into position. Please see dr

Hi, My coil fell out back in Jan 15 after having fitted by a gynecologist in august 2014.It was due to me having really heavy periods and then they finding out that i had adenmyotis in Jan 15.

But do go and get it checked out hun.

Good luck.

Mine came out after only being in for 2 and a half weeks, the pain was horrible when it was expelling itself my body reacted as if it was in labour... Hopefully you will have been to get it sorted already x x
