I had a laparoscopy last April and have recently had the Mirena coil removed. I’ve had burning pain in my left leg and under ribs. The same type of pain is also in my stomach and hips near my incision sites. These pains have increased a lot since I had the coil removed.
I’m due to have an MRI next week but I wonder if these are nerve pains or actually my endometrosis symptoms changing.
Has anyone experienced something similar?

I have only just had my lap done in May and have the exact same symptoms on the same parts as you. The difference is that I had the mirena coil inserted. I mentioned that to my dr at my follow up appt and she said I had extensive surgery and it was very complicated. As she had to move a lot of things around, she would be surprised if anything was actually damaged but it’s impossible to confirm now as it could also just be my body’s reaction to everything and part of recovery. She’s asked me to wait and come back in 4 months to assess, so fingers crossed! Has anyone mentioned anything similar to you? I’m glad they are investigating with an MRI, this way they will be able to tell you if it’s new endo growing or just your body recovering from the surgery. Good luck! 🤞🏻
