I have just been referred back to gynaecology as I believe my symptoms are my endo/ or scar tissue from my laparoscopy giving me jip. Every other doctor has said that my symptoms are textbook endo but my gynae said it most likely wouldn’t be back as I’m only a year post op. On top of debilitating pelvic pain & chronic fatigue, I’m now getting occasional bleeding after sex & back pain for most of the month. It sounds like I’m moving on to trying zoladex for 3/4 months to help diagnose whether it’s my endo causing the pain. I’ll be honest I’m scared and overwhelmed and sick of not knowing what my body is doing. Had anyone got any lived experience in any of these areas? Any advice/thoughts welcome

Bleeding after sex, back pain & zoladex
Hi there. I was diagnosed with endo and adenomyosis in February after years of pain and worrying symptoms. Replying to you, as I am 3 months down the line on Zoladex. I had wanted a hysterectomy straight away when it was suggested as an option but consultant suggested Zoladex first, as ‘hysterectomy doesn’t always mean no pain’.
Anyway, just want to give you the heads up to be prepared for a period of depression(mine was bad for about two weeks after first implant and has been less and less since. Not sure if it is Zoladex or not, but also very tired and can get insomnia for first couple of months. At 44, they also put me on HRT, to help with potential damage to bones.
Even though the bloating has reduced for me and I felt I was getting a bit more energy, I just don’t feel this treatment is working for me. Am going to an endo specialist(who is also on Benenden list) next week. Going to plead my case for a hysterectomy- was told it would be uterus plus right ovary, as it is stuck to uterus!
Have been off work since January and really can’t do this much longer.
Here if you want to cross-check any symptoms as you start your treatment.
Best of luck!
